Bigger, better, and with a brand new partner on board, our Serena Fenwick programme is back for 2026 – meet this year’s participants.

Our 2026 Serena Fenwick programme is now up and running – a 20-strong group of young professionals making their way in the opera industry.
This year we’re excited to welcome Garsington Opera as a partner, bringing more resources, expertise and opportunities to the programme (including sessions held at their amazing new studios).

Over the next few months, our participants will receive one-to-one mentoring, practical workshops, and hands-on experience, as well as sessions on goal setting, personal brand and social media training, and a showcase performance at Garsington Studios.
Additional opportunities for singers include movement, individual coaching, auditioning and casting, vocal health, networking with casting directors and agents. For conductors they include observing Garsington stage and piano rehearsals and shadowing opportunities with national and summer companies. For directors, more shadowing opportunities and training in fight and intimacy coordination. Stage managers will get weekly online sessions following a stage manangement diploma syllabus, immersive weekends within national and summer opera companies, as well as score reading and props sessions.
