“After choosing the 'sensible' option of studying Theoretical Physics at UCL, it wasn't long before I concluded that I was a far better singer than I was a physicist. Two years later, I left my undergraduate degree to take on professional singing work for a year before beginning my conservatoire studies in September 2026. My greatest interest in opera lies in the lyric Italian repertoire, as my voice lends itself to composers such as Donizetti, Verdi, and Puccini.
I am a 22-year-old tenor from a small village called Glyncorrwg in South Wales, now based in London. I am a huge fan of learning languages, German beers and listening to nerdy old-school tenor recordings from the likes of Gigli, Di Stefano and Björling.”
