“As a young girl I loved to sing. I took lessons, sang in churches, at parties, and never shied away from a stage with (or without!) a bright light. Not much has changed. I’ve discovered that my voice is well suited to opera. I love opera's immersive storytelling; the colours, the drama, the silliness…I get excited just hearing an orchestra begin to tune! I hope to create moments that make people laugh, think, and escape from life’s hustle & bustle.
I am a proud Canadian-Brit who has made homes on both sides of the Atlantic. I’m a big sister. I love to swim. I’m trying to practice speaking Italian every day. I never tire of listening to Ella Fitzgerald, and my favourite day of the year is the first snowfall.”
