I am a Slovak-British conductor, specialising in opera and contemporary music. Having always sung in choirs and accompanied singers as a pianist and organist, opera felt like a natural route for me, once I fell in love with conducting at university. I am interested in bringing new and not-well-known repertoire to wide audiences (I can definitely chat about Slovak operas a lot), and I love arranging this repertoire for unconventional ensembles.

I come from Slovakia, where I lived until I was 17 and developed love for hiking, history and languages. Having since studied and lived in the UK, I have explored a range of musical experiences, from leading an all-female a cappella group to teaching blues in a primary school.
