“Finding myself in opera at a young age, I performed Miles in Britten’s Turn of the Screw at the likes of Opernhaus Zürich, Kolobov Novaya Opera Moscow, and Northern Ireland Opera. This drove me to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where after graduating, I became a Young Artist at Nevill Holt Opera. Now as a director, I am a former BYO Serena Fenwick Artist and most recently, I directed La tragédie de Carmen at Wexford Festival Opera.
I am from Belfast and away from all the music and drama, I am a big sports fan. In particular, I am a devoted Manchester United supporter, something which hasn't been easy over the years. I also do a lot of reading, especially things written by Irish authors.”
