“I am a lyric tenor from New Zealand with a background in opera singing and choral and small ensemble singing. I am drawn to opera time and time again for its ability to rouse the human spirit. There is a beauty in great singing which, to me, compares to nothing else. I think great music can bring meaning to people’s lives, and it seems more valuable than ever before in an age where meaning and shared experience are rapidly eroding.
I am a nature lover and a physical person. I am also a tinkerer and a problem solver! I grew up in New Zealand with a very outdoorsy childhood and I play squash regularly. I recently completed a project with a rock band! I love jazz.”
