“I am a mezzo-soprano from North London with a specialist interest in trouser roles and travesti performance practice. It was partially due to the performing of male travesti roles during my training that I came to understand my own non-binary identity and thus chose for the focus of my studies to be this long-standing operatic tradition. I am most at home in baroque, 20th century, and contemporary repertoire, as well as Italian and French repertoire from the early 19th century.
I am a passionate snowboarder and began pursuing my snowboard instructor’s certification this year. However, when I’m not on a stage or a slope, I love Dungeons & Dragons and heavy metal. I run multiple D&D groups and often take inspiration for my stories from opera and metal alike.”
