British Youth Opera produces a range of exciting events alongside our programme of workshops and summer season performances.

These range from our annual Winter Galas in iconic venues to smaller-scale concerts held in other unique locations. They provide opportunities for our Friends, supporters and other guests to hear exceptional performances by major artists and more recent alumni.

Crucially, many of our events enable us to raise additional and much-needed funds for the work of the company,

In recent years, we have staged concerts at Queen’s Chapel, Lord's Cricket Ground, the Reform Club, Merchant Taylors' Hall, a number of Livery Halls (notably Goldsmiths', Grocers’, Fishmongers’ and Stationers’), and the Institute of Directors.

Performers have included BYO alumni such as Peter Auty, Lucy Crowe, Ben Johnson, Gwyn Hughes Jones, Katarina Karnéus, Nicholas Lester, Christopher Maltman, Benedict Nelson, Meeta Raval, Claire Rutter, Nicky Spence and David Stout, as well as Vice Presidents Sir Bryn Terfel and Sir John Tomlinson CBE.

I feel that supporting such an important organisation as British Youth Opera in any way is tremendously important. Long may it continue to be successful and supported.
