We are delighted to announce a gala concert in The Queen's Chapel, by gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen.
Soprano Rebecca Bottone (Tytania, A Midsummer Night's Dream, BYO 2003) and baritone David Stout (Forester, The Cunning Little Vixen, BYO 2004, Guglielmo, Così fan tutte, BYO 2005) will be amongst the BYO alumni performing highlights from Handel's Acis & Galatea and Purcell's Dido & Aeneas.
Part of St James's Palace, The Queen's Chapel is one of the Chapels Royal in which Purcell was both a singer and organist, and where the title of 'Composer of Musick' was created specifically for Handel.
Following the performance a buffet supper will be served in the library of the Reform Club on adjoining Pall Mall. A limited number of tickets are available for this fundraising event and all proceeds go to support the work of BYO in 2012.
